When Coffee is Just Around The Corner

This blog is already overdue because I had to do some DIY which required some time to finish. I will be posting the DIY soon. Me and my friend went out for some catching up since we were not able to see each other for quite some time. We haven't decided on a place to eat yet but she said she wanted some all day breakfast cafe since she will be coming from night shift. Whenever I am on my way to work, I always pass by Craftsmen Specialty Coffee cafe and the aroma of the coffee is so enticing. However, I had to go to work and I did not want to see the place by myself. This coffee shop is located in 20 Eastwood Rd, Eastwood Centre #01-06, which is just in front of the bus stop on the way to my work. I asked my friend whether she wanted to try it out and since there are also a number of Pokemon in the area, she obliged. It may seem small on the outside but it was actually quite spacious when you go in. It has about 7-8 tables (I did not really count, just an estimate) and one long table near the entrance. It has a homey and laid-back ambiance; the kind of cafe where you feel like you know everybody and you can stay there the whole day. This is our kind of cafe.

Every nook and cranny of the place is Instagram worthy. We took time to order our food as we can't decide on which one to try out first. The prices are budget friendly and if you bring some friends, you can just buy one of each in the menu. In our case, we tried the Craftsmen Supreme which includes grilled smoked back bacon, Norway smoked salmon, thick toast, pinto beans, fresh side salad with cherry tomatoes and a choice of eggs (poached or scrambled). I ordered iced roasted almond latte while my friend had a butterscotch iced drink that was so good we forgot what it's name was.

The staff were all accommodating and even asked us if we want our pictures taken. This cafe does not charge GST and service charge so what you see in their menu is what you pay for.

Overall, we enjoyed our time in Craftsmen and will definitely recommend it. Five out of five coffee cups!
